So much information!!!!

Good work today on the notes.  I'm getting the sense that this is one of the more difficult sections to get through.  I will post the link for the cell respiration video in the Special Links portion of the blog.  Lets do a discussion on cell respiration here.  Bring up a question and see who in the class can help you answer it.  I'll give everyone until Thursday to post either a question or response.  If you post a question try to respond to someone else.

  2. Substance X is the reducing agent because it donates electrons, thereby reducing other substances. It becomes oxidized in the process.

  3. Why do oxidation and reduction always go together?

  6. (Answer to Haljnl1) because an electron transfer requires both a donor and an acceptor, therefore because an electron is added to one substance (reduction) and an electron is taken away from a substance (oxidation) they both always go together.

  8. Alright I just saw this, so what is the point of cell respiration?
